Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th June.
10am - 6pm daily
If you’d like to board the vast array of tall ships and vessels, you can grab your very own Boarding Pass (£5 per person) – providing two hour access to explore these vessels to your heart’s content. Children under 5 are free for both Boarding Passes and Museum Entry with a paying adult.
There is tons of entertainment for all the family from sand sculptors, meeting seafaring characters from the past, flyboarders creating daredevil stunts on the water, a vintage fairground, musicians bursting from every corner of the historic docks and the return of the Gloucester Shanty festival and Pirate Walk.
Come aboard and see these impressive tall ships first-hand, experience live battle re-enactments and more over this three-day event on the docks with your Tall Ships Boarding Pass.
The Canal & River Trust will be offering boat trips and paddling on the water over the course of the Festival weekend. These can be pre-booked or booked on the day.
There are fringe events taking place over the course of the same weekend, including the Gloucester Shanty Festival, which too takes place between Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th June 2022.
You can also enjoy lunch over the course of the Festival aboard the LV14 SULA Lightship. Join Captain Colin and Vivienne for a Mediterranean buffet lunch onboard this unique vessel, located in the heart of the quays.
On Saturday 4th June, you can also walk the plan and join the Pirate Walk between 4 – 5pm.
