The Museum, Coffee Shop, Gift Shop and Gruffalo Trail are now open Thursday to Sunday 10am to 5pm. 

With so much to explore and learn at the Dean Heritage Centre it’s time to plan your visit.

If the weather isn't looking good, you can take advantage of our Rainy Day Guarantee: The Centre has both indoor and outdoor exhibits - but if you cannot enjoy the outdoor activities due to heavy rain and flooding, we'll give you a voucher to come back free of charge, within the following month, when the weather is better.

DOGS: Dogs are welcome in our Coffee Shop and gift shop but currently are not allowed into the Museum or grounds including the Gruffalo Trail. You are very welcome to use our large car park as a base to explore the surrounding area. With Soudley ponds over the road and a brilliant Geology trail accessed in the village it's a great place to explore. Our café always has treats available for your four legged friends and even has dog friendly ice-cream! 

Please note that our car park is locked 30 minutes after closing.
