February Half-Term Art Activities

Not sure what to do this half-term? Join us at Nature in Art for a children's activity day.
Each ticket includes access to the museum for 1 child and 1 adult, plus the activity itself. Choose from a morning session (10-11:30) or afternoon session (13:00-14:30). All materials are provided, but please bring an apron if you have one! Read on to see all our activities.
18th February - Sock Puppets
Using donated clean socks (you may bring your own) we are going to make some fun sock puppet friends!
19th February - Wax Resistant Art
Using wax crayons and paint, we will create some vivid bright pieces of artwork.
20th February - Mushroom Prints.
Using a recycled material called tetra pak, we will be inspired by mushrooms and nature to make some unique prints. (This activity is recommended for children age 6+)
21st February - Kids yoga and origami
Our education officer is a fully qualified children’s yoga instructor. The first half the session of yoga fun and games, the second half learning and decorating origami dogs.
